Ways to work with us.
Forge provides a focused project with varying levels of complexity. Forge: Repair gets our engineers onto a project that needs steadying or reassessment. Campaign is ongoing priority development where we are your consistent partner. Every engagement begins with a free Pathfinder report.
Engagement type 01
Forge. Fixed scope. Fixed price. Fixed timeline.
Forge is our fixed-scope, fixed-price, fixed-timeline engagement — how most projects start with us. Every Forge follows the same timeline.
01
Discovery Call
We begin by understanding what you need, what success looks like, and the best way to approach the work. By the end of the call, you have a clear picture of what Forge will deliver, how the project will run, and what to expect from the work ahead.
02
Design & Planning
We use the first few days to turn the agreed brief into a build-ready plan. The scope is signed off, the delivery plan is confirmed, and the project is properly set up for implementation. By the end of this stage, you know exactly what is being delivered, how the work will run, and that everything is in place for the build to begin.
03
Build
With the plan signed off, we move into delivery and turn the brief into production-ready software. Progress stays aligned to the agreed scope, timeline, and budget, and any new request is reviewed before it is introduced. That keeps the work focused, protects momentum, and ensures the investment stays tied to the result you came to buy.
04
Release
Once the build is complete, we take it through to launch and support the transition into live use. You receive a working release, together with the documentation, guidance, and handover support needed for a strong start. The result is a finished product that your team can begin using with confidence from day one.
05
Guided support
Every Forge engagement includes 30 days of guided support, giving you continued access to the team as the work moves into real use. It is there to support adoption, answer early questions, and help your team get full value from the delivery from day one.
Forge sizes
Forge: Pilot
From£9,500
2 weeks. A prototype, technical assessment, and a concrete proposal for a full build if you proceed.
Forge: Standard
From£20,000
4–6 weeks. A production-ready feature or small application.
Forge: Extended
From£40,000
8 weeks. A full product release or complex multi-surface build.
Engagement type 02
Forge: Repair. Stabilise, salvage, or finish.
When a project has drifted, stalled, or never quite landed, Forge: Repair is how we help you get it back on its feet.
What it covers
- Rescue work on stalled or half-finished builds
- Stabilising inherited systems with no documentation
- Repairing AI projects with weak engineering underneath
- Salvaging software that works but isn’t usable
- Finishing projects that have been abandoned mid-way
How it starts
Every Forge: Repair starts with a Discovery Call. We need to see the codebase, understand the history, and give you a clear assessment of what is salvageable. We value transparency and honesty: sometimes the answer is "finish what is there", other times it might be doing a full rebuild. Either way, we want you to thrive.
Pricing
Forge: Repair
From£20,000
Scoped after a Discovery Call. The exact price depends on the state of the project; the call gives us enough to quote reliably.
Engagement type 03
Campaign. Ongoing priority development.
Campaign is our ongoing delivery model for teams that need steady product progress, retained context, and a partner who can keep the right work moving over time.
01
Kickoff & alignment
We get up to speed on the product, the codebase, and the way your team works so we can contribute with context rather than catch-up. This shortens ramp-up time, reduces re-briefing, and allows the engagement to become productive more quickly.
02
Onboarding & setup
We embed into your existing tooling and process so collaboration feels natural from week one. This reduces re-briefing, shortens ramp-up time, and helps the engagement begin producing useful progress sooner.
03
Ongoing delivery
Work then moves through Agile sprints, with releases delivered in short validation cycles. This keeps momentum in place, makes progress easier to see, and allows the product to keep evolving without losing focus.
04
Review & refinement
At regular points, we review what has been delivered, what is having the strongest effect, and where effort should go next.
