Every engagement starts with a free Pathfinder report. If you proceed, scope and price are agreed in writing on a Discovery Call. Forge is fixed-price; Campaign is a monthly retainer. Any scope change is documented and agreed before it's billed — no surprise charges.

It depends on the engagement. Forge runs from 2 weeks (Pilot) to 8 weeks (Extended). Forge: Repair is usually 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the state of the existing system. Campaign is ongoing, with a 3 or 6 month minimum to settle into a steady delivery rhythm.

Not at all. Most of our clients are operators, founders, and heads of department, not engineers. We translate technical decisions into trade-offs you can act on, and document everything so you're never reliant on one person to understand your own system.

Yes — that's what Forge: Repair is built for. We start with a deep-dive analysis of the codebase, document what exists, and give you honest options: finish what's there, rebuild parts of it, or retire the system entirely.

Every Forge and Campaign engagement includes 30 days of guided support after release. After that, you can move to a Campaign retainer, hand the system to your team using the handover guide, or pick it up again on demand.

Yes, before sharing any sensitive material. We can also work under your existing master service agreements or supplier frameworks if your organisation has them.

Scope often evolves. Any change is reviewed, costed, and agreed in writing before work begins. On Campaign engagements, you can re-prioritise within your allocation at any time without triggering a change order.

We're a UK studio based in Winchester, working with clients across the UK. Most engagements run remotely with regular video sessions, and we travel for kick-off, key reviews, or wherever physical presence genuinely helps the work.
